可數名詞與不可數名詞

名詞可分為可數與不可數名詞。可數名詞是指可計算之物的名詞﹐不可數名詞則是指不可計算之物的名詞。比如說學生和水，分別是 可數 與 不可數 名詞。

可數名詞是和以下詞句一起應用的。
'some', 'a lot of', 'many', 'more', 'a few', 'several', 'plenty of'.

不可數名詞是和以下詞句一起用的。
